Einstein in the Workplace: Helping Employees Reengage through Leadership, Imagination and Excellence.

In the present state of our economy, with layoffs and re-organizations, employee morale and engagement are at risk. Employee disengagement directly impacts co-workers, the culture and the results of the organization; and most often, disengagement indirectly impacts the personal life and family of the employee as well.

In this presentation, participants will be provided with:

  • Recent research on employee disengagement and the factors leading up to an improved sense of engagement.
  • Ways to support employees including the use of their leadership in the workplace to stimulate their involvement and engagement.
  • Practical ideas for helping employees further embrace the value of excellence and achieve greater work satisfaction.
  • An exploration of the value of imagination and vision at the heart of our endeavors.
  • Tools and suggestions extracted from authors such as: Peter Senge, Margaret Wheatley, Scott Peck, Thomas Moore.

Presenter: Isabelle St-Jean is a Registered Social Worker, Professional Life Transitions Coach, Certified Retirement Coach and facilitator. Her education includes formal facilitation and public speaking training and graduate studies in Authentic Leadership at Naropa University. She is initiator and co-author of Einstein’s Business: Engaging Soul, Imagination and Excellence in the Workplace, the author of Living Forward, Giving Back: A Practical Guide to Fulfillment in Midlife and Beyond, and a contributing editor of Audacious Aging.
