Working with Sexual Addiction: How to identify, counsel and refer

Treatment for sex addiction varies with the type of sex addiction the client has and the degree of illness or stage of the disease he/she is displaying. In this presentation and discussion you will learn to:

  • Conduct an assessment for sex addiction
  • Determine the client’s motivation
  • Explore any medical or other addiction issues
  • Develop a care plan
  • Decide when to refer

About the Presenter, Nelson Sacristan, MA, CSAT
